Netzwerk Ost-West e.V. supports these women by way of seminars, empowerment, international conferences and specific project support.
More than half of the world's population are women.
In the current situation concerning world politics and in the face of global conflicts, regional wars and religious tensions, it is of growing importance that women wake up and take over responsibility for political and social tasks.
For this it is essential that women combine their very own abilities and powers, which arise from the specific world of the woman as well as her cultural and religious traditions, with drive and assertiveness. Women shall use their potential and contribute to securing peace and contain individual as well as institutional violence.
