When I observe the behavior of women in my country of Germany, what I see is that only a minority of women are on the male egotistic career path: most of women do love their families, their husbands and children, they want to carry their families and they do it as best they can.

I see a lack of love and compassion only insofar as women rarely practise love and compassion towards themselves…

During my lifelong path of self-exploration I have come to the conclusion that as long as women exclude themselves from true love and compassion towards themselves society connot change in the direction we wish so much. The reason is that inconsciously we still behave as victims of a thousand of years old patriarchal imbalance of power between men and women.

We want to create a world where there is balance, harmony and partnership between men and women, children, adults and seniors, between all human beings and nature - but this cannot come true unless a woman learns to be a good partner for herself, unless she takes for serious her talents and potentials and does no longer allow others - and herself! - to hold her down!

So from my point of view as a teacher and yogateacher who mostly deals with women the first step in the process of transformation of society is that women change their attitude towards themselves.
